Polya — Support
Questions, bugs, or feedback of any kind:
Polya is built by one person, so replies aren't instant, but every email gets read and answered.
Subscriptions and billing
Polya's paid plans (Magna and Summa) are sold and billed by Apple, not by Polya directly, so most billing questions are handled through your Apple ID rather than by emailing here. What each plan costs is on the pricing page.
- To cancel or change your plan: on your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Polya.
- To request a refund: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID you subscribed with. Apple handles refunds directly — Polya cannot issue one.
- If you switch phones or reinstall the app: open Polya, go to Settings, and use "Restore Purchases," signed in with the same Apple ID you originally subscribed with.
Deleting your account and data
You can do this yourself, immediately, inside the app: open Polya, go to Profile, and tap "Delete my account". It asks you to confirm, then erases your account, every device signed into it, and the checks stored with it. It is instant and it cannot be undone.
If you have already deleted the app and cannot get back in, email ethanchowcode@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and it will be done by hand instead.
Either way, deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription — do that separately through Settings → Subscriptions, as above, or you will keep being billed for an account that no longer exists.
Signing in, and a forgotten password
Polya accounts can be made with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and a password. If you signed up with an email address and cannot remember the password, tap "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in screen — Polya emails you a link to set a new one. If you signed up with Apple or Google there is no Polya password to reset; use the same button you originally signed in with.
Reporting a bug or a wrong answer
Polya's AI can get things wrong — if it marked something incorrectly or the app misbehaved, email ethanchowcode@gmail.com with what happened and, if you can, a screenshot. This directly shapes what gets fixed next.
